We were having a hard time finding lodging on outer banks, so we came upon this lodging. So glad they had an opening and price was reasonable.
We staying in the manor section of property, which was good we could just step out of hotel to our car. Not very much lighting, but feel like it was a safe area. Would need to read up on that more. Front desk staff was very nice. This is an historic place, but our room in the manor section was renovated and nice. There is an ice machine in the parking area in front of manor in front of housekeeping building. Great place to fill up cooler on the way out. There is a pizza hut and mcdonalds nearby and local diners. We would stay again.
