Centrally located in the heart of Roanoke Island, Elizabethan Inn is a year round resort with shaded grounds and country manor charm. Providing for the needs of visitors since 1954, the inn offers great food, a friendly atmosphere and year round spa facilities. For recreation and relaxation guests can enjoy an indoor heated pool, whirlpool, sauna, massage, outdoor pool, and exercise room.

"We stayed here on our wedding night. Before I say anything else, this place has the SOFTEST bed I have ever slept in. This is a really nice hotel; the room was gorgeous and is in excellent condition. The sofa bed, comfortable chair, and T.V. with multiple channel selection were great. The staff was very accommodating and met any request almost instantly. I wish I could find this incredible kind of accommodation and service all over the country when I travel. It was most impressive. This is a first rate hotel, and was just perfect for our wedding night. I would recommend it for anyone wanting a reasonable stay in the area."

"If you're looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay with warm friendly people, this is the place! One of the cleanest motel rooms I've ever seen, and after 20 years in the motel business myself, I know where to look for the dirt. The rooms were larger than most hotel rooms we've stayed in. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of exercise equipment for my husband and a gigantic pool for me. They even had locker rooms so I could change out of my wet bathing suit before going back to my room. Lots of personal touches in the room. It felt more like a home away from home than a cookie-cutter hotel room. The staff were first rate! Friendly and accomodating. We've been to most of the motels on the Outer Banks over the years, but we'll stay with the Elizabethan from now on."

"My husband and I rode our bikes out for an extended weekend stay. I have been by this place for many years and have always stayed "on the beach". We did not know what we had been missing. It was quiet and clean. All amenities were close by and we were a short ride from the beach without the hustle and bustle of the "touristas". I would recommend this place to anyone. We have traveled quite a bit over the years and it is really hard to find a place with such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I think you guys have done a great job and look forward to staying with you again soon."
